Dr. Zahra Ahmed
Family Practice

Dr. Zahra Ahmed is a board-certified family practitioner who graduated from Ross University Medical School with her education being conducted in Dominican and in Chicago hospitals. Afterward, she completed her family medicine residency at Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. During her residency, she served as Chief Resident and participated in the Chicago Asthma Consortium, which is dedicated to improving the quality of life of patients with asthma. Her training included OB, Sports Medicine and Geriatrics. In private practice for 6 years, Dr. Ahmed sees patients of all ages. She believes that an educated patient is a healthy patient. Her philosophy is to treat the patient and not just the illness. Dr. Ahmed enjoys the outdoors, is an amateur photographer and likes to spend time with her family.

Dr. Sufia Syed, MD
Internal Medicine

Dr. Sufia Syed was born and raised in Westchester County, NY. She attended medical school at the University of Buffalo in NY and moved to the DC area in 2001 to pursue a residency in Internal Medicine at George Washington University Hospital. Dr. Syed has been in the DC area ever since. She lives in Maryland with her husband and five young sons with whom she enjoys hiking, reading books, and playing soccer.

Dr. Jamshid Mian, MD
Family Practice

Dr. Jamshid Mian is board-certified in family practice. He is a graduate of Temple University School of Medicine and has been in private practice for more than 12 years, where he sees patients of all ages. He has concentrated in raising awareness of diseases and preventive health in the community. Dr. Mian has done presentations at several local fairs in Maryland schools and has had local TV appearances. He is also affiliated with Union Hospital in Maryland. Dr. Mian currently resides in Abingdon, Maryland with his wife and daughters.
